BuilderBear lets children host a Make a Bear at Home Party! Children create their own animal or teddy bear using our mobile stuffing machine, and then  take him/her home to love!

Construction Cakes! The internet is full of ideas for you to make your own construction cake.  One of the simplest ways is to put (clean) constuction themed toys on top of the cake!  Your child will often already have these around, so this can be a cost saving for you too.

Customise your new friend with clothing, accessories and voice chips. 

Step One: Distribute the BuilderBears!

Consider how to hand out the Unstuffed Teddy Bear and Animal Shells to each child prior to building!

• Pre-wrap the skins in a pass the parcel game
• Use the “lucky dip” draw a prize method
• Create a “Find your new friend” scavenger hunt game (similar to an Easter Egg Hunt). You might like to wrap the skins in coloured paper for this purpose to make them easier to find.
• Tell the children:"When parents get a new baby, they never know what the baby will look like. But, guess what! They love that baby with all their hearts anyway. Adopting a new friend is just the same!"

Consider having a baby name book to choose teddy bear names from.  (If age appropriate)

Since each child takes home the furry friend they build themeselves, a Party Loot Bag may not be necessary. You can save a little money and time and the other parents will thank you when the children are not overdosed on sugar!
